Trust & Privacy

ContractDelta doesn't permanently store your uploaded contracts — files are processed in memory and discarded once your results are returned. To generate the analysis, your contract text is sent to Anthropic's Claude API, which by default doesn't use submitted content to train its models. We do retain some account and usage metadata (like comparison count) while your account is active — see our Privacy Policy for the full breakdown.
Yes — your contract text is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate the analysis, since that's the AI engine powering ContractDelta. Under Anthropic's commercial API terms, submitted content is not used by default to train their models. Anthropic doesn't have independent access to your account or files outside of processing that specific request.
No. ContractDelta is AI-generated contract analysis for informational use only — it's not a substitute for legal advice. For contracts with real stakes, we recommend having an attorney review the findings.
ContractDelta uses AI to identify and classify changes between contract versions. Like any AI tool, it's a first pass, not a guarantee — we recommend verifying findings against the original document, especially for anything flagged as high-risk.
The risk label reflects ContractDelta's AI assessment of each change's potential business significance. HIGH typically covers core financial terms, liability, and IP; MEDIUM covers things like payment timing and notice periods; LOW covers administrative details like governing law or definitions. It's an AI assessment rather than a fixed score, so it's meant to help you prioritize what to review — not to replace your own judgment or qualified legal counsel — this is not legal advice.
Built by a solo developer. I'm Alex, based in North Carolina, with about 15 years building software. I built ContractDelta after running into the same problem myself: comparing contract revisions by eye is slow and easy to get wrong. Your uploaded contracts are never stored — they're read from memory and discarded once your results are returned. Questions or feedback? support@contractdelta.com — I typically reply within one business day.

Getting Started

ContractDelta is built for people who review contracts as part of their job — operations and procurement managers, contracts administrators and paralegals, and founders who need a fast, clear read on what changed before they sign.
General AI tools can summarize a contract, but they won't systematically compare two versions, classify what changed by risk level, and produce something you can forward to a manager or attorney — all in one pass. That's specifically what ContractDelta is built to do.
PDF, Word (.docx), and raw pasted text are all supported, along with scanned PDFs via OCR.

Using ContractDelta

Most comparisons complete in under a minute. Scanned PDFs may take a few minutes depending on length and image quality.
Right now, ContractDelta compares two versions at a time — the original and one revision. If you need to track changes across several versions, run each comparison separately.
Every comparison includes a condensed summary you can forward directly to a manager or attorney — no need for them to log in or use the tool themselves.
Yes, anytime — cancel from your account settings via the Stripe Customer Portal. It takes effect immediately for future billing, and you keep access through the end of your current billing period. Plans are $49.99/month with no long-term commitment; no refunds for partial periods (ToS Section 6).
